“Mundo kung saan natatanggap ang nararapat.”
Works of Heart has always been a design studio that aimed at making design that has social impact. And now in its 10th year, they celebrated this milestone to rebranding to a look and name that is even more mindful in essence, and stronger in conviction.
Now called Dapat, which in Filipino means “Must” or “Should”, they position themselves a step further into their social good cause. From Dapat Studio:
“With a meaningful, participatory process, Dapat creates refined and grounded work that dares to imagine and help shape a more joyful, just, and equitable world. Our name is a reminder of what we hope to achieve through design—ang nararapat para sa lahat.”
In terms of design:
“Our brand identity is built around the pixel, a metaphor for the power of the collective and a visual motif that is meant to evolve and expand.
As designers, we know that every pixel counts. On their own, pixels are unnoticeable specks, but when it comes to forming a singular image, each one plays its part in creating the desired effect.
This is the same for designing the futures we deserve: We rally people to gather and contribute their unique skills to build the world that we envision.”
Truly, a feature that we cannot miss, and DAPAT to be shared.
